Muertecult (also written as Muerte Cult) is a creative archive project collecting fictional materials connected to an underground metal band known as MUERTE.
The archive presents recovered photographs, written records, audio fragments, and visual documents attributed to the band and its surrounding circle, many of which are incomplete, damaged, contradictory, or unverified. Materials are presented as they were found, without correction or clarification, and may reflect unreliable accounts, personal testimony, or distorted recollection.
MUERTE is the name under which these materials and related narrative works are collectively known. The project supports a broader narrative that may extend across written works, illustrated material, and recorded media.
Muertecult is not associated with Santa Muerte or any religious organization. This site, muertecult.com, serves as the primary archive for these materials.
